I .......

So- I am stealing this from Tara, who stole it from someone else.... it has really helped me to think about some things I haven't thought about enough....

i am... a mom, a wife, a daughter, a LOVER.
i think... I have a lot to learn in life.
i know... that I will not stop trying to be the woman I want to become.
i want... to raise good, strong, confident, responsible, successful, and HAPPY children.
i have... so much to be grateful for.(DItto, Tara)
i wish... that some strained relationships in my life would heal and those people would truly know how much they are LOVED.
i hate... road rage, town gossip, when I hurt other people, and the fact that I cannot eat whatever I want and still be 110 pounds.
i fear... losing a child.
i feel... proud of my children and thier personal growth.
i smell... my coconut spice candle.
i crave... chocolate cake donuts, but I will not go there! They go into my stomach and land on my butt.
i search... for peace of mind.
i love... my family- all of them- they make my life worth living.
i wonder... why I cannot let go of past hurts with my inlaws.
i regret... past hurts.
i care... about the underdog.
i always... want to be with Mike, Savannah, Shawn, and Charlee.
i believe...in GOD and Jesus Christ. I beleive in myself. I believe that Savannah, Shawn, and Charlee can accomplish anything they set thier mind to. I believe we all have infinite potential for good.
i dance... a funny dance. ( something like- "Stop- it's beaver time"....ect)
i sing... with Charlee, with the primary, with Rebecca, and whenever I can.
i like... Lobster, chocolate cake donuts, running, looking pretty, a clean house, organization, Lake Powell, and quiet nights with Mike when the kids are asleep.
i don't always... practice what I preach.
i fight... for my kids.
i write... better than I can speak.
i lose... when I let jealousy take over.
i win... when I work hard and accomplish my goals.
i miss... Tara, Michelle Bowman, when my kids were babies, my 110 pound body, Rebecca, SusanAnn, my brother, my inlaws, and Ean.
i listen...best when I am not angry.
i can usually be found... in the car!
i am scared... that I will loose someone I love or one of us will be injured.
i need... to be more wise with my hours in the day.
i dislike... mean people or trash talkers.
i prefer... music and lots of parties!
i won't eat/drink... raw meat or red bull.
i get anxious... about my house being messy. (because it is messy more than it is clean these days!)
i am fascinated by... what my kids are accomplishing.
i am a little embarassed to admit... that I love reality TV and that I am somewhat impulsive.
i am happy about... how I have learned and grown so far in life. I am happy that I have more time to become who I want to be!

First Day of School- Summer in Review

Well, here it is, the first day of school pic. The kids were not happy at their embarassing mom taking their picture, but I snapped it quick! Shawn starts the third grade and Savannah the fifth. We met their teachers yesterday. Savannah is excited to have a male teacher for the first time, and Shawn has the same teacher Savannah had in the third grade.

Here is our Summer in Review:
June: We started the year in Motocross and celebrated Savannah's 10th birthday. We traveled to a few dance competitions and competed in Nationals in Las Vegas.
July: We love July in Aurora, so we participated in all those events, and the girls got to perform with the cheerleaders. We bought a new trailer from my parents. We spent a few fun weekends with family and friends camping.
August: We started school shopping, and scheduling all the doctor/dentist appointments before school starts. We spent a fun day at Seven Peaks with the Mason's. We also made some goals for the school year, which include nightly scripture study, being good friends to everyone at school, and daily math study. We are looking forward to another great year at school and Savannah's last year in Elementary school. I am so proud as a mom of all the kids are doing and the nice people that they are.

Lake Powell, 2008

We had such a great time at Lake Powell this year! I can't help but reminisce about all of the years I spent at Lake Powell when I was a kid. Great memories, and I am so glad we can make some of those memories with our kids. I know the time is already going by too fast, and before long, my kids will take thier kids to Lake Powell! Thanks Brady and Julie for inviting us! And thanks, Tara, for helping me figure out how to get a slideshow on here!

Gooseberry fun- Round Two!

The second weekend at Gooseberry we spent with the Goble's, Sorenson's, and Foote's. We ate good food, the kids played, we 4 wheeled all over the mountains, and fished. Here are some pics of the kids and thier "trophy" catch!

Rest and Relaxation at Gooseberry

We spent a few weekends at Brown's Hole with our trailer. What a nice break from the ringing telephone and the television. The first weekend we spent Saturday with Mom and Dad. Papa Chuck brought his canoe and we ran up to Salina Res. to try it out. Papa Chuck, Mike, Shawn, and Charlee jumped in and paddled out towards the back side of the lake. Me and Grandma were hanging out on the shore, and noticed that they were catching fish. And then, out of nowhere, the rains came. Since the canoe was on the very back side of the lake, they headed for the bank and hid under a tree until the rain let up. It rained hard for awhile! When it let up, they were all soaked and the kids had quite an adventure! We even got mom and dad on the ATV's for a ride!
